Deborah Jacobs, M.B.A.
Senior Associate

Deborah works as a Senior Associate at WestWater Research. Deborah has experience in various aspects of the natural resource development industry including the water markets in Montana and Colorado, Rocky Mountain natural gas industry, and agricultural commodity trading.

Prior to joining WestWater, Deborah managed the business and operations of a small consulting firm in the Rocky Mountain natural gas industry. Deborah also spent time at The adidas Group managing Reebok's regional marketing processes and operations playing an integral role in establishing the company's Marketing Operations department. Following the merger of Reebok and Adidas, she worked extensively on the integration of the two companies. Deborah was one of five employees selected globally to complete the company's Leadership Development Program, during which she led strategic initiatives for the global supply-chain division in logistics and distribution. Deborah was also a commodities trader at Archer Daniels Midland's Soybean Processing Division, where she was also involved in plant operations and logistics.

Prior to working for ADM, Deborah spent some time researching market-based solutions to environmental issues at the Property and Environment Research Center (PERC), where she published an article highlighting the co-existence of oil drilling and wildlife in Alaska. She also played an integral role in an advisory team to the Singapore government during its 2004 water-rights negotiations with Malaysia.

Deborah holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Economics from Montana State University, and a Master's of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
