WestWater Welcomes Savanna Craig as Research Analyst
WestWater Research is pleased to welcome Savanna Craig to the team as a Research Analyst based in our Rocky Mountain office. Savanna brings a strong background in environmental economics and a growing passion for water market analysis that makes her a valuable addition to our team.
Savanna earned her B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from Colorado State University in 2021. Her interest in water resources began during her time as a Water Conservation Intern for Fort Collins Utilities, where she developed a deep appreciation for the role of pricing and policy in shaping sustainable water use.
She recently completed her M.S. in Applied Economics with a Natural Resource Specialization at Utah State University. Her graduate research focused on municipal water conservation pricing and the price elasticity of demand for drinking water in Utah—experience that will directly support WestWater’s ongoing work in municipal water strategy and demand management.
Before joining WestWater, Savanna worked as a student contractor with the U.S. Geological Survey. In this role, she contributed to the economic valuation of post-wildfire debris flow hazard assessments, deepening her expertise in environmental risk analysis and resource planning.
“Working with WestWater Research is a natural next step and exciting opportunity for myself in my career,” said Savanna. “I look forward to growing my passion for water with the team, strengthening my skills in economic analysis, and taking on new challenges.”
WestWater CEO Clay Landry added, “We’re thrilled to welcome Savanna to our team. Her academic training, hands-on research experience, and enthusiasm for solving complex water resource issues make her a strong fit for WestWater and the clients we serve.”
Outside of work, Savanna enjoys rock climbing, running, and spending time with friends. Her interdisciplinary background and enthusiasm for water markets align with WestWater’s mission to deliver data-driven insight and strategic guidance across the water sector.
Please join us in welcoming Savanna to WestWater Research!
