Zach Bateski

Research Analyst

Zach Bateski is a research analyst for WestWater Research based in the Fort Collins, Colorado office. He joins WestWater after serving as a 2022 summer associate where he did extensive research on groundwater markets.

Since joining WestWater, Zach’s primary focus has been researching water right transactions in Utah and Colorado as well as the valuation of groundwater markets for implementation in the Rio Grande Basin. Zach provides our clients with dependable transaction research, valuations and due diligence services.

He holds a B.S. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics with a minor in Agricultural Business from Colorado State University in Fort Collins.

Zach has always had a profound interest in water, which is largely due to his love of fly-fishing.
