WEBINAR RECORDING: Water Markets, SGMA & California’s First Open-Source Water Accounting and Trading Platform

If you didn’t get a chance to tune into our recent webinar about California’s first open-source water accounting and trading platform, worry not!

The Environmental Defense Fund’s Christina Babbit, Rosedale-Rio Bravo Water Storage District’s Eric Averett, and our own Bryce McAteer discussed the the accounting and trading platform, which allows water stakeholders to better manage their water resources and make it easier to adhere to the new rules and regulations of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act.

Though this first, pilot program was rolled out in Rosedale-Rio Bravo Water Storage District, because the technology behind it is open source and easy to modify, many water managers in California can adapt it to suit their specific needs.
